WARNING: This post is extremely picture heavy. (:
I don't remember the last time I really did as much walking as I did in these couple days. Our goal was to pack as many things into our day as possible, and I think we succeeded...
Our second day in Seattle started a little later than we hoped. Naturally, we all slept in a good 2 hours later than we anticipated...whoops. After saying goodbye to a couple of our friends who were going home early, our first stop was some food adventures! We had to take advantage of our remaining time in Capitol Hill, so we went to Skillet Diner to start, where we left with full, and happy bellies. However, full or not, you have to save room for dessert, so we made a quick stop at Mighty-O Donuts for, well donuts, of course!
We started off day three with moving out of our first Airbnb, into our second one right next to Pike's Place! Talk about convenience! After we got settled in, we did some more exploring around the area and the ocean-side views were absolutely amazing. Our first real stop of the day after waking up once again at Storyville Coffee, was the University of Washington. I kid you not, UW was probably one of the most beautiful campuses I've ever seen. I had to take advantage of the clear day and get a shot at Mt. Rainier while we were walking around. After exploring the campus we ended up walking around the University District to satisfy our cravings for Korean food and boba. While we still had daylight, we made our way to Gas Works Park as our final stop of the day to take in the scenery. At this point, we were pretty tired, but it was totally worth it...even the massive hills we climbed to get to the top.
These past couple days were definitely packed with activity and tourism, and I'm so glad I was able to experience Seattle like this.
Next stop, days four and five!
